Acinic cell carcinoma (ACC) is an indolent, low-grade malignant parotid tumor. Overall, it is in the list as the third most typical metastatic tumor of the salivary gland. We report a case of an outsized symptomatic swelling at the left facial region which was clinically diagnosed to be benign salivary gland tumor. The radiological investigation as well as the fine needle aspiration cytology findings suggested the parotid gland tumor of benign etiology. The patient underwent superficial parotidectomy of left parotid gland mass and excisional biopsy histopathological report, however, confirmed the tumor to be a case of acinic cell carcinoma of the left parotid gland. The clinical, radiological, histopathological, and therapeutic aspects of ACC are analyzed together with the literature review.
