Investigation of Effective Parameters on Thermal conductivity of Needle Punched Nonwovens Using Multiple Regression

Optimization of thermal properties of textiles in the face of high energy cost important. Nonwoven tissues include fibrous materials can be used for thermal insulation application. Internal pores of these materials determine their thermal properties, which is affected by many factors. The purpose of this work is to investigate the effect of structural parameters on heat transfer properties of needled nonwovens. In this study, the effect of mean fiber orientation and porosity of nonwoven fabric on thermal conductivity were studied.
