Ocular Non-pigmented Ciliary Adenomatous Neoplasm:Report of a Rare Case and Review of the Clinicopathologic Classification

A 27-year-old man presented with a phthisical left eye. Physical and radiologic examinations revealed an intraocular non-pigmented mass that occupied the anterior chamber. The patient underwent an uneventful left eye enucleation. Histopathologic examination revealed a non-pigmented adenomatous ciliary epithelial neoplasm. Three years after surgery, the patient is alive and well. Here, we discuss the histopathologic features in the context of the clinical behavior of ocular non-pigmented ciliary adenomatous neoplasms.
