Undifferentiated Uterine Sarcoma with associated Lipoleiomyoma

A 67 year old lady, a known diabetic presented with post menopausal vaginal bleed of 1 month duration. Radiological examination revealed a hyper echoic solid mass in the lower uterine body and cervix. Dilatation and curettage was done. The pathological report was poorly differentiated malignant neoplasm. The patient was taken up for surgery. Total abdominal hysterectomy with bilateral salpingo-oophorectomy was done. Histopathological examination showed a polypoidal friable growth within the dilated endometrial cavity and multiple leiomyomas in the myometrium, one of which was yellowish in color.
