Intensive Care

Intensive Care is a special section in the hospital where a group of medically skilled people with special equipments, cares for the patients who are seriously injured.

There are several circumstances where a person may be admitted to an ICU. These include after surgery, or following an accident or severe illness.

Patients in ICUs are often prescribed painkillers and medication that can make them drowsy. This is because some of the equipment used can be very uncomfortable.
